Slim Jim Made a 429-Foot Meat Stick and Somehow This Is a Real Guinness World Record

Slim Jim now holds the Guinness World Record for the longest meat snack stick on the planet. Four hundred twenty-nine feet, five inches. Nearly seventy pounds. That is longer than a football field, which means if you lined this thing up on the fifty-yard line, both end zones would be sitting there like, hey, we are also meat sticks now.

The whole thing went down at Conagra Brands' Omaha campus on September 9, with an official adjudicator on hand to certify the glory. The previous record holder, a 314-foot meat stick from 2023, just got absolutely demolished. And once the record was confirmed, employees got to take celebratory bites, which raises the greatest question in modern food history: does a 429-foot Slim Jim still snap into a Slim Jim, or does it snap into a Slim Jim-adjacent experience?
